Altea is a very pretty town near Alicante. I went there twice. One in summer when it was very hot and one in the autumn. Both times it was very quite and fairly empty. Ideal place to enjoy quiet streets.

Calpe is a nice town near Alicante. There is nothing too exciting to see but it is very pleasant.
