Lagos is a very beautiful town with nice buildings and fantastic restaurants. It doesn't seem to be the principal touristic destination in Algarve which keeps it nicer than other places ... or maybe it only the time of the year when I went there.

Faro is not a very touristic place, but there are enough pretty buildings and other interesting things to be worth spending one day or so.
